Saturday’s Word Camp proved to be a good one. I learned a lot of things about WordPress and a lot about blogging. I got some inspiration, some great BBQ, and WP swag.

Perhaps best of all, I got to spend the weekend with son 3. He’s in SF studying programming and music. He lives with a house full of room mates and knows a really good Thai restaurant.

I took some pictures with my cell phone but I like this one taken by Alan Levine before his presentation. He started off the morning with an overview of WordPress in education.

I’m pretty excited to be going to San Francisco this weekend. They have these WordCamp get togethers at various places around the world. This one looks to be one of the better ones.

Matt Mullenweg, the original progammer of WordPress will be there with a host of WordPress glitterati. Bloggers and developers together for a day. I’m thinking I’ll become a better blogger just by osmosis.

The scheduled speakers cover the spectrum. I’ll be focusing on improving willisays. That and spending some time with my son who lives in SF.
